A Look Back at The Celebrity Traitors Finale – A Stunning Conclusion!

Did he pull off an incredible feat? Or did the faithfuls just play exceptionally – that is to say mind-blowing terribly? Debates will flourish on social media endlessly, but either way the successful contestant of the first – but surely not the last – edition of The Celebrity Traitors is the sly Alan Carr.

When first anointed by the emcee, we thought he could not endure a single hour. And he did not. “I’m unwell. I have a sweating problem and find it impossible to maintain a secret.” Moreover, he is incapable of speak softly or remember if he obtained a shield.

Nonetheless, encircled, by among the most foolish contestants of the game since records began, he made it through, having grown into the role with frightening facility. He finished with a flourish, breaking out in somewhat fake crying about how difficult it had been for him to shoulder the deadly weight.

The two surviving trusting contestants, rushed to comfort him (“It has been ripping me to pieces!”). At home, one could imagine raised faces and yells.

The Final Showdown

As things commenced of the final, there had been five surviving players of the starting group of nineteen. After one last collective task, involving a railway engine, twenty thousand pounds in padlocked caskets, keys and clues placed within the wagons, and two linked sarcophagi (“I took the lead a bit there,” remarks one participant of the unwrapping. “Because I was happy to lose a finger”), they assembled for their ultimate meeting.

Two contestants cast their votes for a fellow competitor, in spite of the expert’s impressive record of logically guiding himself to every erroneous outcome possible. I remain firm in my opinion that this player would have made the world’s greatest betrayer, but as a trusting player he was calamitous.

He did manage to choose a fellow participant at the meeting, nonetheless, and she was accurately eliminated finally.

Emotion and Resolution

Down to the final quartet. One struggles to describe to narrate what transpired following. A specific participant … experienced a doubt. An instance when he doubted his trusted companion. Among the most profound friendships of our or any age, between the biggest personality and the tiniest man on the screen, the sportsman and the brainteaser expert, faltered under the shock as the uncertain player turned over his final slate to show his closest friend’s name.

The voted-out player did not reel – his nature does not allow for it – but were it possible, he might have. “Yet I care for you,” the participant said, helplessly.

The eliminated player left, the surviving pair assumed they were in the clear and after some business entailing hurling satchels into a blaze, the group decided to conclude the game.

As the sole last betrayer, the champion was proclaimed the success and secured the complete cash sum for the pediatric cancer organization. But the most important thing is that when the presenter directed the group to a meeting on the manor entrance, amends was instant.

Saying Goodbye to the Contestants

I will, along with the more than 13 million other audience members, long for each one. (Excluding a couple of participants who did not have the opportunity to achieve a lot, and one more who did not express regret for bungling a certain mission.)

I will long for the bitter fury of one player, the theatrical sadness of another, the utter inability of one more player to interpret events without self-reference.

I shall miss one participant’s suspicion of long words, two contestants’ cleverness, a singer’s undeniable aura, a star as the distillation of everything that remains good in this fallen world, a veteran host as television’s last remaining showman, a sweet-natured contestant and the persistent paternal warmth of a beloved figure, in addition to all the endgame contestants.

Primarily I will pine for the dignity and style of a particular contestant, so remarkably majestic even when shouting into a hole or breaking wind in a cabin. As the figure below the emcee’s tresses emphasized on multiple times, you were, mostly, terrible as players. However, you served as wonderful, exceptional diversion.
