The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically known for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning huge paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity evident, it highlighted just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is actually proceeding.
