International Committee of the Red Cross Accompanies Militant Group in Recovery for Remains of Israeli Hostages in Gaza

A Red Cross official confirmed that its personnel accompanied Hamas officials into zones of Gaza currently controlled by IDF control to support the hunt for the remains of individuals held captive.

Ceasefire Agreements and Captive Bodies Handover

As part of the truce negotiated by the United States, which took effect on 10 October, the group is obligated to return the remains of all Israeli hostages promptly. In exchange, Israel has agreed to transfer 15 Palestinian bodies for each Israeli.
