Netflix Chooses Ideal Performer for Bon Clay in One Piece Season 3

The Secret Organization is poised to play a huge role in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the true confrontation won’t unfold until the next season, and a cherished, popular member has now been chosen.

Netflix announced this week that Cole Escola will appear in the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will play Bentham. The role has the ability to transform into an perfect replica of anyone they’ve touched with their dominant hand. Escola, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a rendition of that figure reimagined as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag queen, in the real-life adaptation, as in the source material and animated series.

This performer will work alongside several other new cast members who will portray Baroque Works to the screen, including chief Sir Crocodile, played by the well-known actor, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and an accomplished actor, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the desert kingdom.

Although Bon Clay is a important part of Baroque Works, the persona will be introduced in One Piece the upcoming installment. Given the next season set to cover the Little Garden arc, this signals a major departure in the timing of the character’s debut, one that could suggest further changes to the narrative framework.

Escola’s blend of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a perfect fit for the role. Besides their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for penning and acting in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the adaptability they’ll bring to one of One Piece’s widely praised characters.

The platform’s adapted One Piece program is due to premiere for its next installment on the tenth of March, 2026.
