The Hit Drama Announced for Seventh Series on the British Broadcaster

The beloved crime series Line of Duty will make a comeback for its seventh season, announced by the BBC.

A brand new six-episode season written by the show's creator starts production in Northern Ireland in the coming months, as confirmed by the production team.

The actress shared her enthusiasm about the comeback, saying she was "so excited" about the show's renewal. Her co-star remarked, "What a joy it is to know that the Three Amigos will be reuniting together next year."

The previous season wrapped up in recent years with a finale that attracted more than 17 million viewers. Rumors about a new season have been widespread for some time, but confirmation only arrived recently.

Fresh Obstacles for The Team

Series seven begins with AC-12 no longer existing and rebranded as the new police oversight body, as revealed by production details.

Steve Arnott, Kate Fleming, and Adrian Dunbar's part continue working to combat corruption within the police force.

Their work "has never been more difficult", and under these circumstances, these officers will take on their "most delicate case so far."

New Character and Complex Case

An additional officer, DI Dominic Gough, described as a charming officer celebrated for takedowns of organized crime, is accused of abusing his position to act as a sexual predator.
